INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The #4 Indiana Tech men's wrestling team went on the road Friday night for their final WHAC regular season dual match of the season against #17 Marian University.
Both teams would come into the match with 6-0 conference records, setting up the dual of the season with the WHAC crown on the line.
Allen Calderon and
Luke Rioux would get Tech off to a good start winning the opening two matches to go up 8-0. However, Marian would win the next three matches to take an 11-8 lead, before
Jonathan Kervin picked up another win for the Warriors with a big 21-6 tech fall to regain the lead. The Knights would answer back again with the next two wins to take a 17-13 lead going into the last two matches.
Nathan Critchfield would tie it back up for the Warriors with a 16-6 major decision victory, setting up a winner take all final match.
Ian Clifford would then seal it for the Warriors with a huge takedown in the third period and the score tied at 1-1. He would hold on in the final seconds to secure a tight 4-3 win by decision as Tech would walk away with a 20-17 dual win and its fourth straight WHAC Regular Season Title!

th at Warrior Park.
