FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech baseball team defeated Indiana Wesleyan 13-11 in a game that had a little bit of everything on Tuesday.
Indiana Wesleyan took a 4-0 lead in the top of the second.
A solo home run by
Brycen Hannah in the second made it 4-1. IWU got the run back in the third to take a 5-1 lead.
Brycen Hannah was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the third to make it 5-2.
Noah McEldowney drew a bases loaded walk to make it 5-3.
IWU scored five runs in the fourth to make it 10-3.
A two-run home run by
Jack Ferguson in the fourth made it 10-5. An RBI fielder's choice by
Ben Hammond made it 10-6. A two-RBI single by
Keelan Dunkle made it 10-8, and a double steal made it 10-9.
An RBI double by
Jack Ferguson in the fifth tied the game at 10-10. A wild pitch allowed
Jeremy Pudlik to score from second to give Indiana Tech an 11-10 lead.
An RBI single by
Keelan Dunkle in the sixth gave Tech a 12-10 lead. Another double steal put Tech up 13-10.
Indiana Tech would go on to win 13-11.

Jack Ferguson,
Noah McEldowney, and
Keelan Dunkle all had two hits. Ferguson and Dunkle both had three RBI. Tech stole six bases in the win. There were a combined 10 hit by pitches in the game.
Keegan Miller got the start, throwing two innings.
Ricky Bennett,
Gary Glaser III, and
Ethan Griffith combined to throw 1.1 innings.
Danny May got the win, allowing just one run in 4.1 innings in relief.
Colton Leatherman threw 1.1 innings to pick up his eighth save.
Indiana Tech moves to 32-13 overall. The Warriors return to action on Friday for a home doubleheader against Lawrence Tech.
