SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The #8 Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team was back on the road for their second matchup with Lawrence Tech this season, where the Warriors would complete the season sweep over the Blue Devils.
The Warriors would jump out to a 5-2 lead through the first 15 minutes of play and would never look back.
Ryan Tedesco led the Warriors to a 9-3 halftime lead with a first half hattrick. He would add two more in the third quarter to lead all players with five goals in the game, as Tech posted a 7-2 advantage in the third. The Warriors would go on to win every quarter of the game, wrapping it up in the fourth, and winning 20-8.
Jake Deacon (4 G) and
Cam Fewster (2 G, 2 A) would each add four points to go along with Tedesco's five to lead the offense. On defense,
Gavin Niezer led Tech with two caused turnovers, while
Zach Spisz and
Evan Haney had five ground balls.
Sam Park picked up the win in goal, making 13 saves and grabbing three ground balls.
The Warriors picked up their tenth win of the season to move to 10-6 overall and are now 8-3 in WHAC play. Tech will close out the regular season against #3 Aquinas College on Saturday, April 25
th at 7pm in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
