UPLAND, Ind. – The 3 seed Indiana Tech baseball team fell to top seeded Taylor 19-5 in seven innings on Tuesday.
Taylor scored a run in the first and four runs in the third to jump out to a quick 5-0 lead.
Jack Ferguson hit a solo home run in the fourth to make it 5-1, but Taylor answered with seven runs in the fifth to take a 12-1 lead. Taylor scored three more runs in the sixth to make it 15-1.

Garrett Rainey, an RBI groundout by
Derek Ruiz, an RBI single by
Noah McEldowney, and an RBI hit by pitch by
Dane Richards brought home four runs to make it 15-5.
Taylor would go on to win 19-5.
Indiana Tech only had four hits in the contest.
Jack Ferguson's home run was the lone extra base hit.
Ben Hammond got the start and took the loss, allowing five runs in four innings.

Tad Dobek, and
Gary Glaser III combined to throw the final three innings.
Indiana Tech moves to 42-16 on the season. The Warriors will play in an elimination game at 1:00 PM tomorrow.
