Jack Rose Elevated to Indiana Tech Head Men’s Soccer Coach

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Jack Rose has been elevated to Indiana Tech head men's soccer coach, Director of Athletics Jessie Biggs announced on Monday.

This will be Rose's first season as head coach and third season overall at Indiana Tech. Rose spent his first two seasons as an assistant coach after joining the program on January 26, 2024.

Rose, a native of Redcar, United Kingdom, joined the Warriors coaching staff after spending the 2023 year as an assistant coach at Florida Memorial University. In one season there, Rose helped the Lions achieve a multitude of program accolades, including receiving votes in the national top 25 ranking for the first time in program history, making their first Sun Conference Tournament appearance since 2016, helping them to their best overall record since 2015 (9-8-2), and accumulating more wins in 2023 than the program had in the prior four years combined.

Prior to Florida Memorial, Rose served as the graduate assistant and recruiting coordinator at Central Methodist University (Mo.), where he helped head coach Alex Nichols achieve a record of 38-2-5 over two seasons during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 campaigns. The Eagles, two-time NAIA National Champions, were named the United Soccer Coaches Regional Staff of the Year in both 2021 & 2022.

Prior to his role at CMU, Rose was the assistant coach at Coffeyville Community College, where he helped lead the Red Ravens to a Jayhawk Eastern Conference Championship in 2020-21. He was also an assistant coach for Kaw Valley FC of the USL 2 in the summer of 2021 and 2022.

Before Rose started coaching, he spent two seasons at Eastern Oregon University where he captained the Mountaineers to their first NAIA National Tournament appearance in program history as a senior. He was also named to the Cascade Collegiate Conference Honorable Mention Team in 2018, starting in 19 matches. In his native United Kingdom, Rose played academy soccer for Hartlepool United & York City.
