WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team faced off with the #12 ranked Grace College Lancers on Wednesday evening in their first road test of the season.
For the second game in a row, the Warriors would have to battle the elements, sitting through another weather delay in this game. Tech would handle it well though holding the Lancers scoreless through the first half, while registering two shots offensively. However, Grace would prove to be too powerful in the second half, scoring four quick ones to start play, before adding two more late goals as the Warriors fell by a score of 6-0.
Georgina Palos Noguer would record two of Tech's four shots in the game, while
Madison Strain made nine saves in goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors drop to 0-2 to begin the year and will be back at home for their next game as the welcome IU-East to Warrior Athletic Field on Saturday, August 29
th at 1pm.
