INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The #3 ranked Indiana Tech men's soccer team played Marian University on Saturday night down in Indy, where the Warriors would emerge with a 2-0 road win.
Robin Vezinhet, the hero from Wednesday night's 2-1 comeback win against Huntington, scored for the second straight game for the Warriors in the 18
th minute to give Tech an early 1-0 lead. The Warriors would double their lead just before the half on a beautiful goal from
Matthew Takawira.
Zak El Hannach continued his strong run of form with another assist on Takawira's goal. Both sides would record eight shots in the second half with two on goal, but no goals would be scored as Tech wins their third straight game.
Alan Fleischer made four saves in goal for the Warriors, picking up his fifth win and fourth shutout of the season.
The Warriors improve to 6-1-1 this season and will face #23 Grace College in a ranked matchup on the road in their next game on Wednesday, September 16
th at 7pm in Winona Lake, Indiana.
