The Indiana Tech Pep Band plays an important role in creating an exciting atmosphere in the Schaefer Center, which makes it one of the most difficult venues to play in, as well as one of the loudest, in the NAIA and the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. While participants in the Indiana Tech basketball pep band do not earn academic credit, scholarships are offered for participation in the ensemble. They also have court side seats for some of the finest basketball action in the NAIA and the WHAC.
