Marshall Oetting is entering his second season with the Indiana Tech baseball team as the assistant pitching coach. Oetting spent the last five years playing at Concordia University - Ann Arbor. In his career at Concordia, Oetting recorded 234 innings pitched, 167 strikeouts, and an ERA of 2.54. Oetting earned All-Conference Honorable Mention in his junior year and was named to the All-Conference First Team in his senior year. Oetting holds the CUAA career wins record with 19 and also the career putouts record with 867. Between his junior and senior seasons Oetting played for the Lakeshore Chinooks in the Northwoods Collegiate Baseball League.

He graduated from Concordia University in 2018 with a degree in sport and entertainment business. Oetting lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
