Brandt Danals

Brandt Danals begins his fifth season as an Assistant Coach for the Warrior men's basketball team.

Danals, a 2010 graduate of Ashland University, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team, joined the Warrior staff after spending the previous two seasons as the Head Coach at Crestview High School, just outside of Ashland, Ohio. In his time as as Head Coach, four of his players were recognized as All-District selections, five as All-Conference selections and 14 players were named to the Conference All-Academic team, while achieving winning seasons.

Following his playing career at Ashland, Danals spent one season as a Volunteer Assistant at Ashland University under the schools’ all-time winningest coach, Roger Lyons. Danals has worked several NBA Gatorade League (formerly the NBA Development League) tryouts, collegiate summer camps, and organized individual workouts for a wide range of players across the Midwest.

A native of Loudonville, Ohio, Danals had a great high school career at Loudonville High School, where he was a member of back-to-back State Final Four teams. He was an All Mid-Buckeye Conference selection as a senior.

In addition to his responsibilities as an assistant for men's basketball, he also serves as the head coach for the Warrior men's and women's tennis teams.

Danals lives in Fort Wayne.
