Frank DiCristofaro, Sr.

Frank DiCristofaro, Sr. has coached at every level of hockey for over 36 years and joined the Indiana Tech men's ice hockey program as an assistant coach in the summer of 2016.

His 29 years high school coaching experience span five different Michigan high schools, Allen Park Cabrini, Southgate Anderson, Allen Park High School, University Liggett, St. Clair Shores Unified Lakers. His high school teams have earned 17 regional championships, 17 state final 4 appearances and three state final championships. He was the first Michigan High School Hockey Coach to earn championships in both Division 1 and Division 2. DiCristofaro was presented with numerous Coach of the Year awards and was inducted into the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2006. Many of his players have played college and professional hockey, most notably 1996 Stanley Cup Champion Craig Wolanin of the Colorado Avalanche.
  
Before joining the Warriors, he was a Wayne State University assistant to his son, Frank DiCristofaro. 
 
He has been married to his wife, Renee, for 35 years and has three children: Frank who is the Indiana Tech Head Hockey Coach, Anthony and Leah who played NCAA Division I softball at Oakland University.
