Ellena Cott-Laurie

Ellena joins the Warrior softball coaching staff following an illustrious four-year career at Ottawa University. A four-year starter for the Braves, she was a four-time All-Conference selection, including three straight First-Team nods as a sophomore, junior and senior. The product of Topeka, Kansas earned Gold Glove honors at catcher as a freshman and was named to the NFCA All-Region Second-Team that same season after leading the Braves to an NAIA World Series appearance and a conference championship in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). She holds five Ottawa records: career hits (231), career RBIs (181), season runners-caught-stealing (14), career RCS (43) ,career AB’s (641) and is second in career home runs (23) and doubles (43). She is also among the top-10 in the Braves history in slugging percentage (.541), fielding percentage (.987) and put outs (720).
