Charleigh Wagner has joined the Indiana Tech women’s ice hockey team as an assistant coach for the 2023-24 season. 

Wagner joins the Warriors for their third season as a program, after spending the 2022-23 season serving as an assistant coach for team Southwest of the PIHL and Moon High School in Pittsburgh. Before becoming a coach, she played forward and defense at McKendree University in the ACHA D1 division for 3 years where she earned several academic honors. Wagner helped the Bearcats compete in their first ever national tournament appearance during the 2018-19 season.  

“I’m excited to get to know these young women and help them grow not only as hockey players on the ice, but as good people off the ice as well” Wagner said.  

Wagner graduated from McKendree University with her bachelor's in biology in 2021.
