Sidney Gerig is entering her first year as a graduate assistant coach at Indiana Tech for the 2023 season. She is currently earning her master's degree in Global Health Leadership while preparing to apply for medical school.
Gerig graduated from Indiana University Kokomo with a bachelor's degree in Biological and Physical Sciences and a minor in Spanish. She played volleyball for the Cougars from 2019-2022, helping them earn four River States Conference Tournament Championship titles, two Regular Season Conference Champion titles, and four appearances in the NAIA National Tournament. Gerig earned three All-Conference Scholar Athlete awards, an All-Conference Second Team award, an All-Conference First Team award, and a Conference Champion of Character award.
