Pawlak finished the month ranked No. 1 in the NAIA East Region and No. 4 nationally in the NAIA. He was 10-1 on the season with six victories by pin and three other victories by major decision.  His only loss is to Division 1 starter from the University of Illinois and he currently has victories over five Division 1 opponents.  He finished 5th at the MSU open and was Trine Invitational tournament champion where he pinned returning All-American from University of Indianapolis to win the championship.
