A senior from Harrison Township, Mich., France was a two-time Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference champion in February, winning the 200m (24.95) and the 60m hurdles (8.52) at the WHAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 21. On the 13th France hit three more automatic qualifying marks at the Grand Valley State Big Meet, finishing second in the 200m (24.51) and 4x400m relay (3:49.18) while taking third in the 60m hurdles (8.49). Her biggest accomplishment of the month came Feb. 6-7 at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational where she placed 18th in a field of 74 NCAA Division I runners in the 200m (24.61) while also taking 13th of 52 athletes in the 60m hurdles (8.53). She also helped the relay team to an automatic mark of 3:49.65.
