McClain led the Warriors with a .474 average in 15 games during the month, driving in a team-best 23 runs and hitting three home runs, while adding three doubles and a triple. The Fremont, Indiana native had a .530 on-base percentage and slugged .719 as Tech went 12-3 during March, including a sweep of defending AVISTA-NAIA World Series National Champions Lewis-Clark State. The Fremont High School product would drive in a career-best eight RBI's and hit two homers with a perfect 4-4 game against Marygrove on March 24 and was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week on March 27.
