McKinney scored 25 goals and dished out nine assists during the month and was named the NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week twice during April. The Savage, Minnesota native became the first player in program history to be named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in goals during the regular season.
