Box Score HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Despite a double-double from Chelsea Carradine, the Indiana Tech women's basketball team fell short in a 65-79 road loss to the Foresters of Huntington on Tuesday night.

The Warriors (4-3) took a one-point lead into the locker room after outshooting the Foresters (4-2) 43.3 percent (13-for-30) to 38.7 percent (12-for-31). Neither team shot well from behind the arc in the first half, each tallying one three-pointer while the Foresters won inside, outrebounding the Warriors 20-17 in the period.

Tech held the lead until the 7:22 mark of the second half as the Foresters took a two-point, 51-49 lead. Huntington outscored the Warriors 53-38 in the second half as the Warriors turned the ball over 10 times in the half compared to just two by the Foresters.

The Orange and Black grabbed 36 rebounds to just 34 for the home team, but Huntington outshot Tech, finishing the game with a shooting percentage of 47.5 percent (28-for-59), despite converting just 2-of-10 attempts from three. The Warriors finished the game shooting 43.5 percent (27-for-62) from the field including a 4-for-18 (22.2%) mark from behind the arc.

Carradine carried the Warriors with 24 points and 15 boards while Sabine Filippovica fell short of her double-double with the 11 points and a team-high eight assists. Rachael Kruse also added 12 points.

Amelia Recker also recorded a double-double with 28 points and 13 rebounds to lead Huntington.

The Warriors return to Kline Court on Thursday, Nov. 21 when they host the undefeated Saints of Aquinas College at 7 p.m.
