FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The goal of many collegiate athletes is to make it to the next level and the Indiana Tech ACHA Division I hockey team will get to taste what that's like on Sunday, Dec. 14 when they host the Broncos of Western Michigan at the Allen Country War Memorial Coliseum, home to the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets.
The Warriors and Broncos will square off at 12:30 p.m. with the Komets welcoming the Toledo Walleye to the Coliseum with puck drop scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Fans can purchase discounted tickets, with proceeds to benefit the Warrior hockey program, by visiting
www.indianatechwarriors.com/tickets. Be sure to select other as a payment and then select Warrior Komets Hockey Tickets from the drop down menu. Tickets can be picked up at the Sports Information Office in the Wellness Center on the campus of Indiana Tech before Friday at 4 p.m. or at the Indiana Tech will call table before faceoff on Sunday. There is limited availability to be sure to act now!
Tickets are $15 and are required for entrance into the Komets/Walleye contests, however, like all Indiana Tech home games, all students, faculty and staff will receive free entry into the Warriors/Broncos contest. Parking for the Warriors game will also be free but, if you leave the lot and return there is a $5 parking fee for the Komets game.
