UNION LAKE, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's hockey team is receiving votes in the 2026-27 ACHA D1 Preseason Ranking, the ACHA announced Wednesday.

The Warriors are coming off of a sixth straight WHAC regular season title campaign, where last year they finished 14-2-4 in WHAC play and were 16-9-5 overall. The Warriors are one of nine teams receiving votes in the rankings, including WHAC foe Lawrence Tech University. Ohio University tops the rankings after winning the national championship last season. The Bobcats received 25 first place votes and 741 points. They are followed by No. 2 Adrian College with four first place votes and 697 points, and No. 3 University of Nevada-Las Vegas with one first place vote and 683 points.

The Warriors will start their season on Tech's Homecoming weekend with a Friday night game at the PSM Icehouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana against No. 24 Davenport University on October 2^nd at 4pm.
