LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell in their first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest, losing to the University of Northwestern Ohio, 9-0 on Friday night.

The Warriors dropped all three doubles matches, falling behind 3-0 heading into singles play. Raquel Manzoni pushed the Racers (7-4, 1-0) Viktoriia Zahorulka to the brink at No. 1 singles, taking three games in set one before falling 7-5 in the second set. Ana Hernandez did the same at No. 2 singles taking five games in the two sets, falling 6-1, 6-4.

The Warriors fall to 1-6 this season and 0-1 in the WHAC and don't return to the courts until Thursday, Apr. 3 when they host Bethel at 4 p.m. at Swinney Park.
