Box Score 1 GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Indiana Tech men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Davenport University to take on their conference rivals on Saturday. The men lost 8-1 and the women were shut out 9-0.

The lone men's point came at the No.1 doubles where Joaquin Ferrando and Alberto Tenias defeated Jordan Parker and Matheus Carvalho 8-2.

It was the first loss for the men's team (10-7) in six matches.
The women (5-8) entered the competition at a 2-point disadvantage due to a shortened roster. The best performance came at No.4 singles where the match between Kristi Kuzdal and Barbara Oliveria went into a tie-breaker. Kuzdall won the match 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 10-7.

Both teams are back in action this week as the women play host to Indiana Weselyan University at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 16 and the men host Goshen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 17. Both matches will be held at Swinney Park.
