FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Much like the men before them, the Indiana Tech women's tennis team moved their match against Bethel College indoors and took advantage of the venue change, registering their second win of the season with a 5-4 victory over the Pilots at Wildwood Racquet Club on Thursday night.

Tech had to come from behind for their second victory as the Pilots (9-8) took two of the three doubles matches. Barbara Oliveria and Raquel Manzoni teamed up at No. 2 doubles to defeat the Bethel pair of Melissa Ramer and Jana Yoder, 8-1.

In singles play, Manzoni got things going with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Molly O'Grady and Ana Hernandez followed with an impressive tiebreak victory over Bethany Blodgett at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 7-5 (10-4). At No. 3 singles, Oliveria defeated Ramer, 6-4, 6-2 and Anabell Cordero sealed the win with a victory at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-2.

The Warriors will return to action on Saturday, Apr. 5 when they host conference opponent Cornerstone at Swinney Park. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
