FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team fell to No. 2 Davenport University in a hard-fought 3-2 decision on Saturday night at Warrior Athletic Field.
 
The Warriors struck first when Mitch Smith notched his second goal of the season in the 30^th minute to give the hosts a 1-0 lead over the Panthers.
 
Davenport would strike back quickly however, tying things up at one just before halftime when TJ Ifaturoti, the WHAC leader in goals, would notch his 11^th of the season after beating Tech keeper Logan Kelly. Ifaturoti would add his second of the match in the 55^th minute after getting behind the defense and blasting one past Kelly.
 
The Warriors would not bow to the second ranked Panthers however, as Zachary St. Aubin would get on a breakaway of his own in the 69^th minute and send it home to knot it up at two.
 
Cam Cavanagh would score the game-winner just four minutes later however, when he headed in the cross from Adam Farrell from inside the box.
 
Tech (3-7-1, 0-4-1) returns to WHAC play on Wednesday when they host Marygrove College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and live stats will be available at IndianaTechWarriors.com.
