KENT, Ohio – The Indiana Tech American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 1 ice hockey team defeated Kent State, 3-2, on Friday evening at Kent State Ice Arena in Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League (GLCHL) action.
 
After 40 minutes of scoreless action, Alex Gregorich broke tie just a minute and 40 seconds into the game when he blasted one into the net off feeds from Joe Molfetta and Brian Skillicorn.
 
Adam Jonak would make it 2-0 Tech just a minute and six seconds later for his eight goal of the season, with Anthony Passarelli and Quentin Holmes getting the assists.
 
The Golden Flashes would come roaring back however, scoring twice in the next seven and a half minutes to knot the game up at two. Gregorich would make sure the Warriors ended up on the right side of the score column with his second goal of the night with just over five minutes to go in the game.
 
Zach Larson made 38 saves while facing 40 shots to pick up the team-leading fourth win of the year in net for the Orange and Black.
 
Tech (8-6-0) concludes its weekend set with Kent State on Saturday with puck drop scheduled for 3:15 p.m. from Kent State Ice Arena.
