Tech Can’t Stop Eagles in Loss

BENSENVILLE, Ill. – The Indiana Tech ACHA Division I men's ice hockey fell to Robert Morris, 5-1, on Friday night at the Edge Ice Arena.

The Warriors got off to the early lead thanks Jarrett Pfeiffer's 14th goal of the season at 16:10 in the first period. Quentin Holmes and Zach Morlock would get credited with the assists.

It would be short-lived however, as the Eagle would tie the game just 90 seconds into the second period before adding three more goals in the last 10 minutes to give the hosts a commanding 4-1 lead. RMU would notch on another goal in the third.

Zach Larson would face 40 Eagles shots while making 35 saves.

Tech (12-10-0-1-0) will face off with the Eagles on Saturday for their final game of the calendar year. Puck drop is set for 8:30 p.m. ET from the Edge Ice Arena.
