BRIEF:Â The Indiana Tech baseball team returned to action for the first time in 12 days and let a late lead slip away in game one before falling 7-3 in the second of a doubleheader against UNOH who is receiving votes in the coaches poll.
Chase Keathley continued to pitch well for the Warriors while several players had multiple hit days.
FLOW:Game 1-Â UNOH opened the scoring with a run on two hits and an error in the first inning
- Tech was held hitless through four innings
- Three consecutive hits in the fifth, including a
Brian Hakes double and
Peyton Newsome two-run single put the Warriors in front
- The Racers tied the score in the sixth on an RBI groundout
- A stolen base and an error allowed
Kyle Mead to put Tech up 3-2 in the eighth
- UNOH used five hits to plate four runs in the bottom of the frame for the win
Game 2- Steven Remesnik got the Warriors on the board first with an RBI single, plating
Dezmon Nunn- Tech left the bases loaded in the first, UNOH tied the score in the bottom of the frame
- Six hits, including a three-run home run, plated five runs for the Racers in the second
- The Orange and Black left a pair of runners in the third and stranded the bases loaded in the fourth
- UNOH added a run in the fifth on another sacrifice fly

Romer Portes drove in two with a double in the sixth, cutting the deficit to four
- Tech put the first two on in the seventh but couldn't complete the comeback, stranding 12 in the game

HIGHLIGHTS:-Â Keathley allowed one unearned run on six hits in five innings in game one
- Mead scored a run in each game, collecting three hits
- Portes also had three hits and drove in two runs
- Newsom had a pair of RBIs, Nunn had two hits and scored twice

Connor McLaughlin allowed just one run on two hits, striking out three against two walks in five innings of relief in game two
