BRIEF:Â The Indiana Tech baseball team opened their spring break trip with a one-run loss to 16th-ranked Oklahoma City. A four-run inning by the Stars did in the Warriors in as their comeback fell one out short in a 5-4 loss. Chis Gaynor led the offense with a 2-for-4 day, scoring twice.
FLOW:-Â Tech stranded a leadoff single in the first while OCU used a sacrifice fly to score their leadoff double
- Â Gaynor scored the Warriors first run in the third to tie the score
- A walk and three hits, including a pair of home runs put the Stars back in front
- Three straight singles plated another Tech run as
Derek Morgan singled home
Mark Carpenter, who ran for
Brian Hakes- In the seventh, Gaynor homered to cut the deficit to two
- The Warriors loaded the bases in the ninth and
Kyle Mead plated Carpenter, running for Morgan, to make it a one score game but Tech couldn't get another tally
