BRIEF:Â The Indiana Tech softball team opened their spring break trip with a two-team doubleheader at the National Training Center Spring Games.
Hannah Foltz led the offense with a 4-for-7 day as the Warriors plated five runs on 13 hits in their two contests.
FLOW:Game 1-Â Tech loaded the bases in the first but couldn't score; Marian got a pair of runs on two hits
- Foltz drove in
Bailey Dembinski, who tripled and
Juliaclare Plezbert plated Foltz, all with two outs, to tie the score
- MU took the lead with a two-run single in the fifth
- A pair of singles, a walk and a three-run double by Dembinski put Tech up 5-4 in the six.
- Four hits plated the final two runs of the game giving the Knights the win
Game 2- The Warriors stranded a pair of runners in the first
- Four hits led to three runs for the Fire in the second inning
- Another couple hits plated another Southeastern run
- Tech tallied just two more hits in the game, unable to push across a run

HIGHLIGHTS:-Â Foltz collected two hits in each game, scoring a run and driving in a run
- Three other Warriors, Dembinski, Plezbert and Rivas tallied a pair of hits against Marian
- Dembinski drove in three runs and scored once

Jamie Kilps,
Sofia Johantgen and
Tori Simper also scored a run
- Simper pitched a solid game against the Fire, allowing four runs on 10 hits over seven innings
