BRIEF: In a matchup of two of the top five teams in the National Women's Lacrosse League, Davenport got the better of the Warriors as Tech was unable to battle back from a seven goal first half deficit.
 
FLOW:
- Davenport opened the contest with seven unanswered goals
- Alexa Winter netted a free position shot to put Tech on the board
- Tayler Campbell also scored, but DU matched both goals for a 9-2 halftime lead
- Three unassisted goals from Winter, Campbell and Sam Vikstrom cut the deficit to four
- After a Panthers goal Winter connected with Lauren Allard to make it 10-6
- The visitors added four more goals to seal the win

- Winter tallied a team-best four points on three goals and an assist
- Campbell totaled two goals while four others scored a goal or had an assist
- Tech won 15 of the 23 draw controls led by Vikstrom who collected five
- Both teams attempted 22 shots
- The physical contest featured 54 fouls (35 DU, 11 IT) and 11 yellow cards
