No. 4 @INTechWLAX Drops Home Opener to Bearcats

BRIEF: Playing their second of three games in three days, the fourth-ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team couldn't quite match the firepower of NCAA II McKendree in an 18-5 loss. The Warriors played at home for the first time this season, tallying five goals with Tayler Campbell leading the way with two goals and an assist for Tech.
 
FLOW:
- McKendree opened the scoring with a trio of scores before Campbell netted the first marker for Tech
- Six unanswered points from the Bearcats made it 9-1
- Campbell found Alexa Winter inside the arc and the senior netted her 15th goal of the season
- Lauren Allard got in on the scoring right before the half to cut the deficit to seven
- Sam Vikstrom and Campbell sandwiched a McKendree goal to open the second half, but the Bearcats scored the last seven tallies for the final margin
 
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Campbell had a team-high three points, scoring two goals with an assist on four shots
- Allard, Vikstrom and Winter all scored unassisted
- Vikstrom collected a team-high five ground balls
- Allard lead the team with nine draw controls
