BRIEF: Five goals from Alexa Winter and six points from Alexis DiGiovanni gave the fourth-ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team a win over No. 3 Lawrence Tech on Monday. Playing their third game in three days, Tech used a 10 goal first half to build a healthy lead and hung on for the three goal win.
 
FLOW:
- The Warriors opened the contest with three unanswered goals from Sam Vikstrom, Winter and DiGiovanni
- The Blue Devils cut the lead to just one with back-to-back goals
- Tayler Campbell and Kristina Scott each scored in between LTU goals to keep the margin at one
- Indiana Tech scored five of the final six goals of the half, including two from Winter, for a 10-6 halftime lead
- After scoring the last goal of the first, Campbell opened the scoring in the second half
- LTU scored the next three goals to cut the lead to two, 11-9
- The Orange and Black answered with six unanswered tallies to push the lead to eight, 17-9
- The home team scored six of the final seven goals for the three goal margin
 
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Winter scored five goals on 11 shots while also tallying five groundballs
- DiGiovanni finished with a team-high six points, scoring two goals while dishing out four assists
- Campbell finished with four goals and an assist with three groundballs
- Vikstrom added three goals and five groundballs while Kristina Scott (2), Aubri Hazen (1 g, 1 a) and Dakota Dawson also contributed offensively for the Warriors
- IT outshot LTU 46-34 and held a 21-14 margin in draw controls
