BRIEF: The Indiana Tech softball team continued their winning ways on Tuesday morning with a 5-1 victory behind the offense of Sophia Johantgen and
Juliaclare Plezbert and the pitching of
Maggie McCrory and
Tori Simper. A three-run fifth inning propelled the Warriors to the win.

FLOW:- The Cougars got on the board first with a bases loaded walk in the third

Katie Bird even the score in the fourth with an RBI single, plating Plezbert
- MVNU gave the Warriors a run with a bases loaded walk and an
Alli Watson single plated a pair of runs with the help of a Cougars throwing error
- Plezbert showed some power in the seventh, homering to right field for the final margin

HIGHLIGHTS:- Johantgen, Plezbert and
Hannah Foltz each tallied two hits
- Plezbert scored three runs and drove in one
- Johantgen and
Jenevie Rivas each scored once while three others collected an RBI
- McCrory allowed just one run on three hits in 2.1 innings
- Simper got the win, allowing just one hit, striking out one in 4.2 innings of relief
