BRIEF: The Indiana Tech softball team pushed its winning streak to seven games with a sweep of the Knights of Calvin College on Thursday, thanks to some late inning heroics in game two. A home run by the pitcher, Tori Simper, and a bases loaded walk gave the Warriors the walk-off win.

FLOW:
GAME 1
- Three hits and an error in the second inning allowed the Warriors to open a five-run lead
- Alli Watson and Katie Bird drew back-to-back bases loaded walks to plate the first two runs
- Sophia Johantgen continued to hit, delivering a bases clearing double to make it 5-0 Tech
- As the Knights struggled to solve Jamie Kilps, Hannah Foltz added to the lead in the fourth with a two-run home run
- Calvin's lone run came in the sixth, a solo home run, the only blemish on Kilps day

GAME 2
- The back-and-forth affair began with the visitors scoring three runs on just one hit thanks to three Tech errors
- After stranding a runner in three of the first four innings, Tech broke through in the fifth with two runs on three hits and an error
- Bailey Dembinski plated Cortney Bingham and later scored on Simper's RBI single
- Another error allowed the Orange and Black to tie the score as Bingham plated Shy'lay Myatt who ran for Juliaclare Plezbert in the sixth
- Two hits and another error gave the lead back to Calvin, 4-3, headed to the bottom of the seventh
- Simper helped her cause with a leadoff home run to tie the score
- A single and three walks plated the winning run for Tech

HIGHLIGHTS:
GAME 1
