BRIEF: The Indiana Tech baseball team snapped a five-game losing streak with a sweep of Wabash College at Goodrich Ballpark on Wednesday.
Jason Sterrett and
Blake Converset combined for a five-hit shutout in game one and a nine-run sixth inning propelled Tech to a come-from-behind victory in game two. A pair of Warriors,
Derek Morgan and
Peyton Newsom, were perfect at the plate while seven others recorded at least one hit in the second game.

FLOW:GM 1:- Indiana Tech opened with three straight hits;
Romer Portes' two-run single being the third for a 2-0 lead
- A wild pitch,
Mark Carpenter groundout and Portes single plated three more runs in the second

Matt Bandor singled home the final run in the fourth
- The Warriors left eight runners on base, the Little Giants stranded seven

GM 2:- Two hits and an error loaded the bases for Wabash in the first, but they stranded all three

Zach Pfafman put the Warriors on the board with an RBI groundout in the second
- Eight hits and an error plated six runs for the home team in the bottom of the frame
- An RBI double in the fourth put Wabash up 7-1
- Tech chipped away in the fifth when Hakes doubled home Carpenter and
Zach Fyfe- Four hits and another error plated three more runs for the Little Giants
- The Warriors kept hitting, piling together six hits to plate nine runs in the sixth for the lead
- Portes delivered a pinch-hit two-run triple to start the scoring
- Carpenter singled in a pair,
Steve Remesnik doubled home two,
Derek Morgan had a sacrifice fly and
Tyler Denniston singled home two more
- An RBI double in the bottom of the sixth added to the Little Giants total
- Tech got the run back in the seventh with a Hakes RBI double for the final margin

HIGHLIGHTS:GM 1:- Sterrett made his starting debut and dazzled, allowing just four hits, striking out three and walking three in five innings
- In just his second appearance in 2015, Converset allowed just one hit, striking out a pair in two innings
- Â Carpenter, Portes and
Dezmon Nunn each tallied two hits
- Carpenter and Nunn each scored a run with the former driving in one while Portes drove in three
- Four other Warriors scored a run

GM 2:- Newsom and Morgan each finished 3-for-3 with the former scoring four runs and the latter scoring once with two RBIs
- Hakes also collected three hits, scoring once and driving in three
- Carpenter drove in two, scored twice and had two hits
- Portes added to his day driving in two, scoring once
- In all Tech tallied 16 hits and had 14 RBIs
