BRIEF:Â The Indiana Tech baseball team, playing their fifth game in four days, nearly toppled NCAA I Butler University 4-2 on Sunday. Eight different pitchers pitched for the Warriors while three hitters tallied a pair of hits.

Romer Portes drove in the first run for Tech with a sacrifice fly, plating
Dezmon Nunn who led off with a single
- Portes drove in Nunn again in the third with an RBI double to left in the third
- Three hits by the Bulldogs in the third led to two runs for the home team tying the score
- A sacrifice fly in the fourth plated the game-winning run for Butler
- Two hits and a double play in the seventh added an insurance run for the Bulldogs
