BRIEF: Jamie Kilps tossed a two-hit shutout and Tori Simper allowed just one run as both pitchers tossed complete games for the Indiana Tech softball team in a sweep of West Virginia Tech to end the NTC Spring Games on Sunday.
 
FLOW:
GAME 1
- Hannah Foltz drove in Alli Watson with an RBI single to open the scoring in the third
- Tech added a run in the fifth on one hit, scoring on a passed ball and a walk
- Sofia Johantgen scored on a passed ball and Cortney Bingham plated Juliaclare Plezbert with a walk

GAME 2
- The Golden Bears scored first with an RBI single in the second
- Foltz netted Tech's first two runs with an RBI double in the third, later stealing home for the 2-1 lead
- Johantgen added another run with an RBI double, plating Alli Watson
 
HIGHLIGHTS
GAME 1
- Kilps pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits with three strikeouts
- Foltz led Tech with a pair of hits, driving in a run
- Three Warriors scored a run
 
GAME 2
- Watson led the team with a pair of hits
- Johantgen and Foltz both drove in a run with the latter also scored once
- Watson and Tori Simper also scored for the Warriors
- Simper allowed just one run on six hits in seven innings for the win
 
UP NEXT: Thursday, Mar. 26 against Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College at Havenhurst Park in New Haven, Ind. First pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
