BRIEF: The third-ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team couldn't overcome a five goal halftime deficit on Sunday, falling to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference foe, 10th-ranked Aquinas, 10-9. The Warriors tallied seven goals in the second half but their comeback fell short.
 
FLOW:
- Aquinas opened the scoring with five unanswered goals in the first 14 minutes
- Alexa Winter got Tech on the board in the 20th minute
- The Saints scored a man-up goal but Aubri Hazen scored a man-up goal for Tech to cut the deficit to four
- Aquinas scored the final tally of the half for a 7-2 score
- The home team scored the first goal of the half and Campbell quickly answered
- Another Saints goal pushed the lead back to six
- The Warriors cut the margin to one, 9-8 with five consecutive tallies
- Campbell scored twice while Sam Vikstrom, Winter and Alexis DiGiovanni also scored
- The Saints went ahead two and Lauren Allard made it a one goal game again with six minutes left, however, time ran out on the Warriors with Aquinas making five saves while Tech missed one final shot with 29 seconds left to seal the final margin
 
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Campbell scored three goals on six shots, collecting two groundballs
- Winter scored twice on six shots
- Kristina Scott and Vikstrom each had an assist
- Kelly Bose had a game-high four groundballs
 
UP NEXT: The Warriors will host Robert Morris (Ill.) in a make-up contest from Mar. 25 on Tuesday, Mar. 31 at Warriors Athletic Field in Fort Wayne, Ind. with the games set to begin at 4 p.m.
