RESULTS | ASHLAND, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team traveled to face NCAA II Ashland University on Sunday, falling 5-2 at the AU Tennis Courts.

With both teams suffering from injuries, only two doubles competitions were played and five singles. The Eagles took both doubles matches, narrowly defeating the Warriors tandem of
Anabell Cordero and
Raquel Manzoni at No. 1, 86.

Manzoni got even with Martina Baca in singles play at No. 1 as she won her match 6-0, 7-5 and Cordero also won her singles match at the No. 3 position, defeating Kendal Stephens 7-5, 6-2. At No. 2 singles, Stephanie Perez lost her first set, 6-2, before winning the second, 7-5, but couldn't complete the comeback, dropping the third set 10-7.

The Warriors return to action on Tuesday, Mar. 31 when they welcome 14th-ranked Indiana Wesleyan to the Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne, Ind. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
