BRIEF: The Indiana Tech women's tennis team returned to full strength in time to welcome 18th-ranked Northwestern Ohio to Swinney Park on Tuesday, but fell to the Racers, 8-1. Stephanie Perez and
Ashley Benvenuti got the Warriors lone win at No. 3 doubles while four individuals won at least one game.

FLOW:
The Racers top two doubles pairs featured a pair or ranked players and led to a pair of 8-0 wins. The Warriors duo of Perez and Benvenuti defeated the UNOH pair of Xiomara Aguilar and Emily Fernandez with an 8-6 victory.

Raquel Manzoni took three games at No. 1 singles before falling to 15th-ranked Melena Lopez, 6-1, 6-2 while the Warriors No. 3,
Anabell Cordero, took two games from the NAIA's 48th-ranked Raquel Marques, but eventually fell 6-1, 6-1.
Ana Hernandez and
Ashley Benvenuti also won games in their matches, but eventually suffered the same fate.

IN THE NUMBERS:Perez and Benvenuti improved to 2-1 as a doubles pair…Tech is now 17-35 in singles play and 7-18 in doubles action…Benvenuti is 2-2 in doubles action and Cordero and 6-3 in singles play
