BRIEF: The Indiana Tech baseball team belted 21 hits and got some solid pitching in route to a sweep of their Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference doubleheader against Lourdes at Warriors Stadium on Wednesday. The long ball led the Warriors to a come-from-behind game one win while Zach Sailors pitched Tech to a sweep.

FLOW:
GAME 1
The Warriors got the scoring started in the third when Steve Remesnik led off with a walk and, after stealing second, came around to score on Tyler Denniston's RBI doubles to right field.

The lead was short-lived as the Gray Wolves strung together six hits and two Warrior errors to plate seven runs and take a six-run lead.

Tech got three back in the bottom of the inning as a Lourdes error brought home Brian Hakes and Derek Morgan's sacrifice fly made it a four score game and a Dezmon Nunn groundout later in the frame made it 7-4.

A Tighe Koehring groundout helped the Warriors chip away at the deficit. The Gray Wolves plated another run on one hit and an error to push the margin back to three, but Koehring made it a one score contest with one swing, depositing the pitch beyond the left field wall.

In the eighth, Romer Portes continued to scorch the ball, drilling a two-run home run on the Anthony Blvd. to tie the score. Then, after a 1-2-3 ninth, Nunn delivered a base hit, plating Caleb Heller for the walk-off win.

GAME 2
A trio of three run innings push Tech past Lourdes, with the first coming in the second innings as the Warriors used three hits and an error to take and early 3-0 lead. Newsome led off with a double and scored on a Lourdes error with Derek Morgan reaching on a sacrifice bunt.

A hit-by-pitch, stolen base and a pair of hits helped put Tech up, but a pair of walks in the third gave the Gray Wolves hope as both runs came around to score and tied the game at three.

In the fourth the Warriors added to their lead with a pair of hits and errors which led to there more Warrior runs. Tech finished its scoring in the fifth with four consecutive hits, including a pair of RBI doubles, to seal the win. Nunn and Bandor each had RBI doubles with the latter driving in two for the 9-0 win.
