BRIEF: The fourth-ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team had five players named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference All-Conference team, three first team selections and a pair of honorable mention honorees. Tech also led all institutions with six All-Academic team members. The Warriors lost the WHAC championship game however, falling to No. 2 Davenport, 11-5 on Saturday at the DU Turf Field.

It was all Davenport in the first half as the home team outscored the Warriors 6-1 in the opening 30 minutes with the lone tally coming from
Aubri Hazen.
Â
In the second half, DU added a pair of goals early, but a pair of
Kristina Scott goals along with one from
Alexa Winter cut the deficit in half, 8-4. The home team added three more tallies before Scott added the games' final goal.

IN THE NUMBERS:Scott finished with a game-high three points on three goals, taking four shots and winning three draw controls…Vikstrom had four groundballs and two draw controls…Tech won draw controls, 10-8, and were close on groundballs, 15-14, but were outshot 28-15 and 18-12 on goal

NEXT: The Warriors will return to action on Thursday, Apr. 23 as they travel to Belleville, Ill. for the first round of the National Women's Lacrosse League National Tournament. The game time and opponent has yet to be announced.
