BRIEF: The Indiana Tech women's tennis team advances to the semifinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference with a clean sweep of the Golden Eagles of Cornerstone at the Gainey Athletic Complex on Friday.

The Warriors swept doubles play to go ahead 3-0.
Ana Hernandez and
Anabell Cordero won at No. 1 doubles and
Ashley Benvenuti paired with Stephanie Perez to win at No. 3, both 8-1 victories, while
Raquel Manzoni and
Barbara Belli de Oliveira won 8-6 at No. 2.

Only two singles matches were finished as the Warriors swept 5-0. Hernandez won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and in the sixth position, Benvenuti won 6-0, 6-3.
IN THE NUMBERS:Benvenuti improved to 3-3 at No. 6 singles and Hernandez earned her second win at the fourth position…Cordero and Hernandez earned their first doubles win of the season….Benvenuti and Perez moved to 5-2 on the season and Manzoni and Oliveira moved to 6-4 as a pair
