PONITAC, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team fell to Rochester College on Saturday afternoon, 2-1, in a battle of the Warriors at WinStar Sports Facility.
The visiting Warriors fell behind soon after the opening kickoff, when Fred Prest beat the defense and keeper
Logan Kelly in the second minute to give the host Warriors the 1-0 lead. Rochester would extend the lead to two in the 64th minute when Matt Gross blasted it home.
The Orange and Black would not lie down however, making a late push as
Brennan Cochran notched his seventh goal of the season in the 86th minute to cut the lead to one, but it was not enough.
Kelly finished with six saves as his record dropped to 3-2-0.
Tech (3-4-0) returns to the pitch on Sept. 25 as they open WHAC play at Madonna. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. from Livonia, Michigan, and links to live stats will be available at IndianaTechWarriors.com
