HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to Huntington University, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon.
The number one doubles team of
Raquel Manzoni and Barbara Belli de Oliveria battled valiantly, but fell to the pair of Morgan Bemisderfer and Celine Rongos, 8-5. Manzoni would fall to Constanze Golz in straight sets at one singles, 6-0, 6-3, while Belli de Oliveria was beaten by Rongos, 6-4, 6-2, at three singles.
Anabell Cordero and
Kayla Morrell would also fall, 6-3, 6-2, and 6-1, 6-3, at two and four singles, respectively.
The Warriors (0-3) conclude the fall portion of their schedule when they host crosstown rival Saint Francis at on Saturday. First serve is set for 4 p.m. from Swinney Park.
