FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to crosstown NAIA rival Saint Francis, 6-3, in their final match of the fall season on Friday afternoon at Swinney Park.
Ana Hernandez and
Anabell Cordero each had three-set thrillers to close out the fall.Hernandez won 4-6, 6-4, 10-2, at two singles, while Cordero battled back to win 5-7, 6-3, 10-4, at three singles
Raquel Manzoni provided the other Warrior point as she won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, at one singles. Barbara Belli de Oliveria lost a hard-fought decision at four singles, 6-4, 7-5.
The loss concludes the fall portion of the Warriors schedule. They will resume competition in the spring.
