PONTIAC, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team improved to 2-2-0 on the season with a 2-0 victory over non-conference foe Rochester College (Mich.).
 
After a scoreless first half, the Orange and Black struck just 90 seconds into the second frame when Sydney Lemelin was able to beat Rochester keeper Madison Bottiaux for the opening goal.
 
Abby Glaysher was able to put the game out of reach just six minutes later as she knocked in her first goal of the season to give the visiting Warriors a 2-0 lead.
 
Behind a stout defense that only allowed two shots on goal and eight overall, junior keeper Tailer Roscoe earned her first career shutout in the first start of her Tech career while recording one save.
 
The Warriors head to Upland, Indiana for a Friday night showdown with in-state rival Taylor University (Ind.). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and live stats will be available at IndianaTechWarriors.com.
