FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to 22
nd-ranked Siena Heights, 3-1, on Wednesday evening at Warrior Athletic Field.
The Saints jumped on the board first in the sixth minute with a Samantha Bartelotti and then doubled their lead in the 14
th minute with Bartelotti's second goal of the game. Siena Heights would add another goal in the 42
nd minute to take a 3-0 lead into the half.
Hannah Duschl would score the first goal of her career in the 75
th minute to give the Warriors some life, but the Orange and Black would only muster up one shot on goal in the last 25 minutes.
Jessica Zurcher was credited with the assist.
Tailer Roscoe made a season-high 10 saves in the loss while Zurcher,
Marina Steffke and
Jessica Marin each recorded a shot on goal.
Tech (3-10-2, 2-5-0 WHAC) concludes its homestand on Saturday when they host Aquinas College at 3 p.m. at Warrior Athletic Field.
