FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to Aquinas on Saturday evening 2-1 at Warrior Athletic Field in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
The first half belong to the Saints, with Jessica Parry knocking in the game's first goal in the 17
th minute off the assist from Emile Rinehart. Melissa Brittian quickly followed up to Parry's goal with one of her own in the 19
th minute, as she dribbled through defenders for the unassisted score.
The Orange and Black would cut into the Aquinas lead late in the second half as
Jessica Marin sent her second goal of the season in off the assist from
Marina Steffke in the 77
th minute, but the comeback attempt would be stopped short as time expired with the visiting Saints on top by one. Marin concluded her night with two shots on goal.
Goalkeeper
Tailer Roscoe concluded her night with 10 saves for the Warriors in the full 90 minutes of play.
Tech (3-11-2, 2-6-0 WHAC) will be back in action Wednesday as they travel to Livonia, Michigan to play Madonna in their last regular season road game of the year beginning at 3:30 p.m.
